After the fiasco over her non-appearance at promotional events for her upcoming film Rascals, Kangna Ranaut is ensuring that she goes all out to publicise her other new film, Miley Naa Miley Hum. When Kangy took the film on (which stars newcomer Chirag Paswan), it seemed she was doing a favour to the makers, as she had plenty of other projects with biggies in the lead. But the makers promised her that the limelight would be hers alone.
Accordingly, the film’s promos all have plenty of Kangna in them. However, Miley Naa…may actually end up doing the actress a world of good, as she needs to get over the negative press Rascals has generated.
A lesson in punctuality
Suniel Shetty’s angry man image has been mostly restricted to the screen so far, and the actor is known for being one of the most levelheaded in the industry. However, it seems even Suniel’s sangfroid has its limits. We now hear that Suniel sternly reprimanded co-star Govinda, for holding up the shoot of their Loot.
Loot has been a long time in the making due to time and budget issues. Unfortunately, Govinda also carries the reputation of being unpunctual and unprofessional, so Suniel made it a point to ask the producers to make Chi Chi sign a “conduct clause” before taking him on.
But Suniel still didn’t leave anything to chance. A day before the team was to fly to Bangkok for an outdoor schedule, Suniel took Chi Chi aside and spoke to him seriously about the need for punctuality on sets. “Suniel told Govinda that they couldn’t afford to waste a minute of the film’s shoot schedule because they were on a tight budget,” our source revealed. “Govinda understood and abided by Suniel’s request.
