Item girl Sona have lodged a police complaint against legendary singer SP Bala Subrahmanyam's Son SPB Charan at the Pondy Bazar police station for molesting and attempting to rape her.
In her complaint, Sona alleged that SPB Charan sexually abused her at Ajith's superhit flick 'Mankatha' (Gambler in Telugu) success party. As per Sona, The party was organized by the Mankatha team boys at the Actor Vaibhav's house. Sona was supposed to produce 'Mankatha' director Venkat Prabhu's next film but the plan was dropped due to financial constraints. SPB Charan asked Sona to transfer Venkat Prabhu's dates to him and also asked about the rate for the dates as well as for her also in a double entendre manner. After that, SPB Charan grabbed her and attempted to sexually assault her. In a pressmeet held Today, Sona said she was a victim of a rape attempt. The actress has given 10 days deadline saying she would burn herself alive if SPB Charan didn't apologize to her publicly.
