Some fans of actor Mahesh Babu on Friday damaged the furniture of a cinema theatre where Mahesh Babu’s Dookudu is being screened at Palakonda town in Srikakulam district.
The irate fans were prote-sting against the theatre management’s failure to screen the film with a good audio output. They alleged that the film was screened without audio at the theatre on the first day. They further alleged that the authorities concerned failed to inspect the theatre conditions including fire safety measures. The police failed to curb the sale of black tickets at the theatres, the fans alleged. They demanded that the management rectify the problem and ensure that the film is screened without any technical disturbances. On being info-rmed, police rushed to the spot and took the situation under their control.
