King Nagarjuna’s high budget socio fantasy flick ‘Damarukam’ is currently being filmed in a massive set erected at Annapoorna Studios. Anushka plays the female lead in the movie and Srinivas Reddy is the director. The movie is being produced by R.R.Movie Makers and Damarukam will be the most expensive film in Nagarjuna’s career.
The story deals with the rise of a common man from humble origins to the heights of greatness when he stands upto fight evil. The movie is said to be loosely inspired by the best selling book “The Immortals of Meluha”. Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music for this film and no expense is being spared in the production of the movie. Graphics work and action sequences are said to be top notch in this movie.
Damarukam will be Nagarjuna’s next movie to hit the screens after ‘Rajanna’.
