RGV once again fearing 'Kamma' community

Maverick filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma always speaks his mind and doesn't mince words. Ram Gopal Verma is always known for making headlines. He created ripples in Caste dominated tollywood industry by showing Kamma community in bad light. And now he is again making headlines for the same caste reason.

Ramu has already triggered the vapors of anger among Kamma community by portraying 'Shatrughan Sinha' as villain in 'Rakta Charitra'. Whether Ramu accepts it or not, the character is a mere resemblance of legendary NT Rama Rao. After some protests, Ramu has cut the role of Shatrughan Sinha to a little to satisfy the big-wigs of this community. However, the vapors of anger have started rising once again when Ramu started his 'Bezawada Rowdeelu'.Apparently, RGV is filming the clashes of Kapu-Kamma communities which have taken place in Vijaywada city decades back. During RC time, Ramu has feared for slain faction leader Maddelacheruvu Suri and decided to alter the original happenings. He highlighted the ‘Reddy’ community indirectly to win the blessings of another top 'reddy' politician's son too. Though this has upset the 'Kamma' clans, his script about 'Bezawada Rowdeelu' will hurt them more, an insider revealed. Now, fearing a violent snap from this community Ramu has altered the story as per reports. Insiders shared that Naga Chaitanya is playing the role of Devineni Murali, while Abhimanyu Singh (Bukka Reddy from RC) is playing the role of Vangaveeti Ranga. Though no one dies at the end of the movie, making a Kapu leader villain to tame the Kamma community shows how Ramu lost his diplomatic way of handling real stories. Cine analysts are saying that Ramu is just underplaying to highlight the Kamma community in order to get some benefits in Tollywood.
