Ram's Kandireega OK

Ram, Hansika and Aksha starrer movie Kandireega was released today and bags good marks from the audiences and good remarks from film critics. Except that, it reminds his earlier movie ‘Ready’ in many scenes the film scores good marks for every thing.

Story in brief:
Hero Sreenu (Ram) who can’t complete his studies has enough of unwanted skills. When, Swathi refuse to marry him, he got irritated and reaches Hyderabad to complete his graduation. There he falls in love with Hansika in first looks. But, she had a problem. Sonu Sood a local gunda keep harassing her to marry him and if anyone go around her he rough him up with his men. Ram, who finds it as an opportunity to win her heart, makes the villain confused with his brilliant ideas and finally Hansika falls for Ram. When, they are planning for their marriage, Sonu Sood brings-in another villain Rajanna (Jaya Prakash Reddy) into the scene who kidnaps Hansika.

But, the actual reason behind the kidnap is not Sonu Soodh’s idea but Jaya Prakash Reddy’s darling daughter Sandya (Aksha) demand to get him. She also falls in love with Ram at first sight, when she saw his daring and dashing nature in thrashing some rowdies single handedly in the train some time ago. So, she asks her father to get Ram for her. Her father Jaya Prakash Reddy plans that if he kidnaps Hansika, he can make Ram walk into his trap and it happens also. How Ram handles the villain and his daughter who is running after him is rest of the story.

Though the director Santosh Srinivas handles the megaphone for the first time, he did his job very well as if he is well experienced. His experience as cinematographer gives edge to his work. The screen play, direction, camera work, comedy, performance, dialogues, music and all other sections of the movie goes very well.

All this mean not that there are no flaws in this film. The film keep reminding us all the time about Ram’s previous movie ‘Ready’ and the taking style of directors VV Vinayak and Sreenu Vytla. To project Ram as highly energetic hero his unbelievable fights makes the classes annoyed but delights the masses. Hansika who seems gained some extra weight these days looks heavy before Ram and the 2nd heroine Aksha who debuts with this film.

Music by SS Thaman is nice and especially the song Champakamala…connects to youth very well. Overall, the movie is a pure entertainer and nothing else. Those want to refresh their minds with comedy and dances can go theaters without any hesitation.
