A question, which is bothering the Telugu movie goers, whether there will be a sequel to Prabhas'Billa. While, Ajith Kumar has started the second instalment in Tamil and Shahrukh Khan on the verge of completing Don 2, there are no signs of the second instalment in the Telugu, which has made the actor's fans to believe that the Chatrapathi star is not interested in the sequel.
Sources close to Prabhas have revealed that the actor has been approached for Billa 2 but he has not sealed the deal, as his dates are fully-packed for the next three years. On the other end, director Meher Ramesh has said that he has written the script but waiting for the release of Shahrukh Khan's Don 2. Unlike the Tamil version, the story of the film is not about the gangster's past rather about his future, concludes the filmmaker.Prabhas' Billa was a remake of the Tamil movie of the same name. The original story was inspired by Amitabh Bachchan starrer 1978s Don, which was later remade in Hindi with Shahrukh Khan in the lead. This time, the Tamil and Hindi versions of the film have started working on new plot rather than taking inspiration by any film. Telugu Billa featured Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Hansika, Namitha, Krishnamraju and others in the cast.
