Says a source, "When invites for the cast and crew for the first promo launch (August 11) were being sent out, Ajay and Sanju specifically told the person organising the event that they didn't want leading lady Kangna Ranaut to be invited." Guests at the launch were wondering about the heroine's no-show. "When she heard about the event, Kangna called up director David Dhawan and asked him why she wasn't invited. Poor David had no reply. Obviously he couldn't tell her the real reason and no lie would've made sense, so the director simply mumbled, made some excuses and hung up," adds an insider
