The time has come for actress Jhansi to add another feather onto her cap. Well, she has bagged the prestigious Nandi Award as the best female comedian for the year 2010. This time, it was for her act in the film ‘Simha’. However, the analysts feel this is more of a ‘no choice’ matter.
A senior analyst added “As such, Jhansi is in the No Competition Zone. Today, there are only two actresses who fit the comedy bill. They are Kovai Sarala and Jhansi. Kovai Sarala is not giving any credible performances and most of the times, she is usually doing B grade flicks with a rather shrill voce.” He added “Though Jhansi’s role in ‘Simha’ is not that great she got it purely because there is no one. Of course, credit must be given to her for the act in ‘Thulasi’ wherein her character was very strong. Meanwhile, the cine folks are saying they are waiting to see who can give Jhansi some competition in her area.
