To show his support for the anti-corruption act that social activist Anna Hazare has flamed nationwide, perfectionist Aamir Khan visited the Ramlila Maidan and requested Anna to break his fast.
Accompanied by Rajkumar Hirani, the actor and the director reached Ramlila ground around 4 in the afternoon. Earlier, Aamir suggested Anna to reach out every single MP and ask them to take a stand on weather they were pro or anti-Jan Lokpal Bill. Aamir asked the people of the country to exercise their right to vote.
Aamir said, “I have come to meet Anna and to give him a hug as he has enlightened us all”.
Aamir said that he had read the Jan Lokpal Bill, and he supported Anna and his team. “I support the bill,” said Aamir.
Filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani said, “We have a new Gandhi in Anna,” said Hirani.
Many Bolywood celebrities visited Ramlila ground and extended their support.
