Puri Jagan has lent his voice to the movie Solo

Director Puri Jagannath has lent his voice to the movie Solo. Puri Jagan will be giving the voice over for this movie during key scenes. Solo has been directed by Parasuram and the movie has Nara Rohit and Nisha Agarwal in the lead roles. Parasuram is a protege of Puri Jagan and that is the reason why he agreed to do the voice over.

Solo is releasing worldwide on November 25th. The movie has been produced by Vamsi Krishna Srinivas on SVK Cinema banner. Music has been scored by Mani Sharma.

Fans, who were on cloud nine after reading that international singer Akon will be singing in a Telugu film, might be disappointed to read this piece of news. Well, the music sensation is not crooning a song in Mahesh Babu’s The Businessman.

Puri Jagannath has clarified the news and said that the rumours, which claimed that Akon would be singing a song in The Businessman, are not true. In fact, Thaman has also said that he has not thought about roping in the International icon to croon the song. He is still working on the tunes and the reports are false.It was reported earlier that international R&B (rhythm & blues) singer Akon, who entered Bollywood with Shahrukh Khan's Ra.One, would be signing a song in Mahesh Babu's The Businessman. Musician Thaman was ready with two tunes out of which the singer will lend his voice for one song. The Businessman, which is directed by Puri Jagannath, features Mahesh Babu and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles.

The hottest name that is currently playing on the lips of many song lovers in India is Akon. Well, he is the international rapper from St. Louis, USA. The reason for him being discussed is his latest chartbuster song ‘Chammak Challo…’ for the magnum opus ‘Ra.One’ in Bollywood.

Now, it is heard that the chances of AKON singing in Tollywood are high. Sources say talks are on with Akon and if all goes well, he would be crooning for the film ‘The Businessman’ Telugu version starring Mahesh Babu. The film is directed by Puri Jagannadh and it is heard that his team has started a dialogue with Akon. If the talks become successful then this would be the first Telugu song for Akon and in a way, it could also be the first Telugu song ever sung by an internationally famous rapper. The filmnagar folks are hoping that the talks go successfully as they want to see what Akon can offer.

The Malayalam actress Asin is one girl who is known not only for her attitude but also for her stubborn nature.

True to the talk among the cine folks, Asin has not been giving up her hopes on Bollywood and is still sticking around. Now, she seems to be getting director Puri Jagannadh into the loop. Sources reveal that Asin spoke to Puri recently. She said “You introduced me to cinema through ‘Amma Nanna Tamil Ammayi’ and gave me a wonderful break. Now I am struggling in Hindi. Though I have one or two projects, they are not solo. Since you have come to Hindi and made your mark with ‘Bbuddah…’ I need your help.”

Asin reportedly added “Now, only you should do something and give me a proper break in Bollywood also. Whatever you want from me take it.” Those who heard this are saying Puri should not delay further and grab the ‘offer’ as soon as he can.

Ace director Puri Jagannath has recently brought back Amitabh Bachchan to his trademark role of angry man with Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap. Now, he is trying to give the same image for Rajinikanth! Well, the director is planning to remake the same movie in Tamil with Rajinikanth in the lead role.

Grapevine is abuzz with the news that Puri Jagannath was recently in Chennai and met Rajinikanth at his residence. The filmmaker expressed his wish to remake Bbudah Hoga Terra Baap in Tamil with the superstar in the lead. But the actor has not approved it, as he has not seen the film. Moreover, the Endhiran star is yet to fully recover from the ill health.Reports further add that Rajinikanth's upcoming filmRana is yet to start its regular shooting, which is expected to commence by September second week. It is only after the completion of this film, the superstar could start the proposed project. Hence, it is too early to talk about Puri Jagannath directorial film. Meanwhile, Puri Jagannath is all set to direct Chiranjeevi, which is said to be the Telugu version ofBbuddah Hoga Terra Baap.
