Hansika is once again in news for refuting a rumour about an ‘item song’. Few weeks ago, she reportedly turned down an offer of Rs 1 crore to dance for an item number in Vikram’s upcoming Tamil film, Rajapattai. She told the media that after doing an item number in Prabhas’ Billa she promised herself that she’ll never do item numbers again. Couple of days ago, her name once again popped up in a similar report. A section of media reported that she has agreed to do an item number in Puri Jagannadh’s upcoming film The Businessman starring Mahesh Babu and Kajal.
Thaman has already composed the song which has been okayed by Puri Jagannadh. When several people on Twitter kept on pestering Hansika to confirm the news, she replied, “All those who are asking that i am doing an “item song” in Businessman the answer to the question is NO !! False rumors roaming around; full stop to the fake stories.”
Recently, Thaman had composed an item song ‘Poovai Poovai’ for Dookudu which had Mahesh Babu and Parvati Melton and it turned out to be a huge hit. We’ll have to wait and see who’s going to be featured in this item song in The Businessman which is slated to hit the screens in January, 2012. Siddarth, Shruti Hassan and Hansika starrer 'O My Friend'currently shooting in hyderabad.This Movie has completed more than seventy percent of shoot and the unit is planning to release the movie in November.Oh My Friend directed by debutant director Venu Sri Ram and Dil Raju producing the movie.
O My Friend' movie audio songs release might be in the last week of September and Rahul Raj is composing the music for this film. Rahul Raj predominantly scores music for Malayalam movies. In fact, Rahul Raj won the Kerala State Award for Best Background Score for the film 'Ritu' in 2010. So the expectations are pretty high for O My Friend songs. The movie has a repeat combination of Siddharth and Shruti Hassan after 'Anaganaga O Dheerudu'. With Navadeep also playing an important character, the movie has the required star casting to attract the audience, particularly the openings.

Hansika chose KBR Park in Jubilee Hills for her jog. When she is in Hyderabad, Hansika regularly comes to this park in the early hours in a tight and short outfit. She runs until she burns out as many calories as she can and leaves the place dragging her body out.
In the meantime she is attracting many a curios eye who drools over her assets at public display. The news about Hansika's jog and jersey is spreading like wildfire that the joggers and walkers traffic multiplied within no time.

The actress has earlier accepted for donning an important role in the film Oh My Friend starring Siddharth and Shruti Haasan is playing the leading lady role. Now, Hansika has been zeroed in for Mahesh starrer The Businessman. Though she hasn’t been roped in for the female lead role, Hansika will be essaying a vital role in the movie. Kajal Agarwal is playing the leading lady alongside Mahesh Babu.
